Federal agencies are an important part of Axiom Corporation’s service mission.   • Perform medical coding, audit and training for VA medical clinics and health centers around the country
  • Includes support for over 40 different VAMCs and several VISN-wide contacts
  • Includes inpatient, outpatient, inpatient professional, and surgery encounters
  • Axiom provided professional conference planning services within OPHPR / OSPHP to support coordination of meetings for the Board of Scientific Counselors (BSC)
  • Included conference and event planning coordination support (pre and post meeting support as well as onsite logistics and technical support for the duration the meetings.)
  • Developed and managed the event planning schedule, tasks, and budget
  • Arranged web/video conferencing and bridge lines, coordinated audiovisual services, collected and reviewed presentations received from speakers

  • Supported the agency with handling a surge in Freedom of Information (FOIA), Congressional Oversight Authority (COA), and Privacy Act (PA) of 1974 informational requests. Work included assisting with three work areas
  • FOIA/CA/PA Intake and Tracking Process – Axiom collected, organized, assessed, and tracked voluminous and complex records, including some that may be classified or otherwise confidential or controlled, that were provided from the NCBDDD offices. Axiom then searched, retrieved or collected, and organized documents related to FOIA/COA/PA requests (historic documents, specialized medical information, etc.), including all associated correspondence. Using the FOIAXpress System, Axiom tracked and processed all FOIA exemption requested information, collected records, and final response contents
  • Analysis and Redaction Process – Axiom performed the review, analysis, redaction, and processing of documents in a timely manner in the form of progress/status reports
  • FOIA/COA/PA Response Summarization Process – Axiom prepared a written report that documents how the FOIA process was managed for each request/response
  • Axiom supported CDC communications to stakeholder audiences regarding public health topics
  • Communication planning, outreach to stakeholder organizations and trade media, public service announcement (PSA) placement, limited advertising/social medial placement, tracking and recommendations, etc
  • Product development of marketing and communications products for relevant target audiences

  • Identify deficiencies in the security posture according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and a minimum set of standard security controls
  • Categorize the weaknesses (low, moderate, high), provide recommendations for security improvement, and identify associated costs required to bring into compliance
